MyGRC Academy was founded with the goal of making high-quality cybersecurity education accessible to all. With years of industry expertise and a passion for teaching, we are committed to empowering professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in GRC. Founder Bio

My name is Eddie Taliaferro. I have over 15 years of experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), and Information Security. I have focused on developing and managing GRC programs in SaaS, financial services, and manufacturing.

I specialize in developing security frameworks, devising strategies for managing third-party risks, implementing security awareness initiatives, and performing internal and external audits to boost organizational resilience.

I possess several professional certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

I have a strong background in Information Technology governance and risk management. I am passionate about equipping professionals with the essential knowledge and tools to address the complexities of cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management challenges. I am excited about the chance to guide you through this course.
